News Center- Political activist Mahnaz Tarrah has been sentenced to four years and eight months in prison by Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court on charges of “assembly and collusion to act against national security” and “propaganda against the regime”.

If the verdict is upheld, the enforceable prison term will be three years and eight months, under Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code.

Mahnaz Tarrah was arrested by Iranian security forces in Tehran on November 13, 2023. She was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison after 11 days in detention.
