Iranian journalist removes hijab: We will never be the same people again
Iranian journalist Maede Amini published her photo without hijab on social media to protest mandatory hijab law. Addressing the Iranian police chief, she wrote, “We will never be the same people again.”
News Center- The protests that sparked in Iran and Rojhilat following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini by Iran’s so-called “morality police” have continued for more than seven months. Despite the bans and crackdown of the Iranian regime, women do not take a step back. Iranian journalist Maede Amini published her photo without hijab on social media.
Addressing Iran’s Police Chief Ahmad Reza Radan, her social media post said, “We will never be the same people again. This film is the true story of millions; we will not take a step back. Before, I was afraid of removing the headscarf. How did I bear this cursed piece of cloth all these years?”
