Iranian activist Sepideh Qolian released from prison

Iranian political activist Sepideh Qolian has been released from prison. “This time, I went out hoping for the freedom of Iran,” she wrote on her social media account after her release.

News Center- Sepideh Qolian, an Iranian political activist and human rights defender, was released from Evin Prison yesterday after being held in prison for four years and seven months. Her brother Mehdi Qolian announced her release on his social media account.

 

After being released, Sepideh Qolian chanted, “Khamenei, you oppressor, we will bury you in the ground” in front of the prison. “After four years and seven months, I have been released. This time, I went out hoping for the freedom of Iran. Hoping for the release of my dear friends Sepideh Kashani, Niloufar Bayani, Zahra Zahtabchi, Bahareh Hedayat, Golrokh Iraee, Nahid Taghavi and all political prisoners. Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (English: Women, Life, Freedom)” Sepideh Qolian wrote on her social media account after her release.
