Ebrahim Raisi threatened women

Since September 2022, Iranian women have removed their hijab in public spaces to protest the mandatory of hijab law by chanting the slogan, “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom)”

On Wednesday, Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi threatened women who remove their hijab, by saying, “The removal of the hijab will definitely come to an end.”

Morality police resume patrols

The Iranian regime has been using inhuman practices to quell protesters; thousands have been arrested, detained, tortured, threatened and hundreds, including children, have been killed and seven persons have been executed in the country since 2022. After the protests erupted in the country, the morality police patrols were paused.

Since the beginning of July 2023, the morality police have been patrolling in the streets of Iran and Rojhilat again.
