Men killed 165 women in Iran and Rojhilat in the last two years, according to Iran’s Shargh daily newspaper.
News Center- The cases of gender-based violence and femicide keep increasing in Iran. Men killed 165 women in Iran and Rojhilat in the last two years, according to the report of Iran’s Shargh daily.
The report said that 108 of 165 women were killed by their husbands, 17 by their brothers, 18 by their fathers and 18 by their male relatives. Men killed 43 women with firearms and 40 women with sharp objects.
