Iran's attorney general threatens women!
Iran’s attorney general threatened women who remove their headscarves during nationwide protests.
News Center- The protests that sparked in Iran and Rojhilat following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini by Iran’s so-called “morality police” continue. During the protests, women remove their headscarves to protest the compulsory hijab.
Iran’s attorney general made a speech yesterday about the women's movement against the compulsory hijab and the popular uprising against the Islamic Republic of Iran. “One of the enemies' plans is to break the boundaries and the lines we built for the Islamic government,” Mohammad Jafar Montazeri said in his speech.
In his speech, he also threatened women, who have removed their headscarves to protest the country’s compulsory hijab and their families by saying, “Women have committed obvious crimes during the nationwide protests without wearing their headscarves.”
He added, “The wearing of a hijab in public is mandatory for women in Iran under the Islamic law. To protect the health and safety of themselves and their families, they (women) have to respect the mandatory hijab. The relevant agencies will fulfill their duties if they see women who do not wear their headscarves.”
