News Center- The rotational hunger strike initiated by political prisoners in Kurdistan and Turkey prisons on November 27, demanding “Freedom for PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and a solution to the Kurdish question” has entered its third day.

 According to the received reports, the hunger strike has been initiated in 104 prisons. Political prisoners held in 21 prisons located in the Central Anatolia Region will be on the rotational hunger strike until February 15, 2024. Hunger strikers indicate that the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan has affected the whole society and that breaking the isolation means the solution of the Kurdish question.

The names of 21 prisons in the Central Anatolia Region are as follows:

· Kayseri Bünyan T-type Women’s Closed Prison

· Kayseri No. 1 T-type Closed Prison

· Kayseri No. 2 T-type Closed Prison

· Kırıkkale Hacılar F-type Prison

· Kırşehir S-type Closed Prison

·  Sincan Women’s Closed Prison

·  Sincan No.1 High Security Prison

·  Sincan No.2 High Security Prison

·  Çorum T-type Prison

· Çorum Sungurlu T-type Prison
