Izmir- The first hearing of the trial against Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reporters Semra Turan and Tolga Güney and Jinnews reporter Melike Aydın on charges of “membership in an illegal organization” was held at the Izmir 13th High Criminal Court on Monday.

The court ruled the lifting of the house arrests and judicial control placed on Melike Aydın and Tolga Güney and the judicial control placed on Semra Turan and the continuation of the ban on travelling abroad.

The next hearing will be held on May 12, 2025.
