News Center- The Cooperative of Women’s Lawyers (IACTA Cooperativa D'advocades) in Barcelona expresses its support to Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of former AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in Pirsûs (Turkish: Suruç) district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018.

The women lawyers released a statement on the social media account, calling on Turkey’s Justice Minister to meet Emine Şenyaşar. The social media post of the cooperative is as follows:

“Do you know the story of Emine Şenyaşar? Her two sons and her husband were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of a member of parliament. She has been seeking justice for more than 880 days. She requests to meet Turkey’s Justice Minister. A film called “For Justice” directed by Elif Yiğit tells the story of Emine Şenyaşar. As IACTA, we are in solidarity with Emine Şenyaşar and call on Turkey’s Justice Minister to meet with her.”
