Electoral fraud reported from many cities
Voting started in Turkey today at 08:00 in the morning. The voting process in many cities started with electoral fraud.
News Center- Today, Turkey votes in presidential and parliamentary elections. The voting started in the country at 08:00 in the morning and will end at 17:00. Since the voting process started, many kinds of electoral fraud have been reported from many cities.
Police officers entered schools
In elections, soldiers and police officers show a document called “142 document” to vote in schools and after casting their votes, they have to submit this document to the polling station staff; however, police officers and soldiers did not submit this document to the polling station staff after voting in the Cizre district of Şırnak province.
At the Cizre Vatan Primary School, a debate broke out between police officers and the observers of the Green Left Party when police officers entered the polling rooms and told the observers to stay outside of the polling rooms. Then, police officers were taken out of the polling rooms. At the Cizre Menderes School, the observers of the Green Left Party were not allowed to enter the school in the morning by police officers. After the objections, they were allowed to enter the school.
At the Cizre Mithatpaşa School, the observers warned police officers not to wander inside the school by holding their weapons.
More than 70 voting fraud reported
Lawyers, who have been monitoring the elections in Şırnak, have reported more than 70 voting fraud in Hezex (Turkish: İdil) district of Şırnak until now. A soldier casted his vote in the Şantiyê (İkizce) village of Şırnak by showing “142 document” although his name was not on the voter list. After the objections, his vote was annulled.
Voters were threatened to cast their votes openly
According to the received reports, the village guards threatened people to cast their votes openly in the Kulp district of Amed (Diyarbakır).
According to the reports, a police officer at Gaziler Anatolian High School in Kayapınar district of Diyarbakır did not submit “142 documents” to the officials after voting.
Violations in Semsur and Dilok
Mehmet Bulut, the mukhtar of the Olgunlar village of Semsur (Adıyaman), casted many votes on behalf of villagers. In many Semsur’s villages, village guards have reportedly threatened people to cast their votes openly.
In Dilok (Antep), around 1,000 people cannot vote because they were appointed as election workers by the Vatan Party without their knowledge.
