Earthquake death toll in Turkey rises to 38,044

Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has announced that the earthquake death toll has risen to 38,044.

News Center- Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has released a statement on the death toll of the magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 earthquakes centered in the Bazarcix (Pazarcık) and Elbistan districts of Maraş. According to the statement, 4,734 aftershocks have occurred after the earthquakes. The earthquake death toll has risen to 38,044, the statement said.
