Dust storm in Iran: 764 people hospitalized
Dust storm in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province has hospitalized 764 people in four days.
News Center- The number of the people who have been hospitalized due to the dust storm in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province has been increasing.
Majid Mohebbi, the head of the Crisis Management Headquarters of the province, has announced today that 764 people have been hospitalized in Zabol, Zahak, Hamoun, Hirmand and Nimrouz cities of Sistan. He also stated that 649 out of 764 people have been discharged from hospital while 115 people are still under treatment.
On Sunday, Majid Mohebbi announced that 330 people were hospitalized due to the dust storm. Officials say strong winds with a maximum speed of 101 km/h ripped through the city of Zabul on Tuesday and the resulting dust has reduced the horizontal visibility to 600 meters.
