Drone strike hits Tel Aviv
A person was killed and four others injured in a drone strike near the U.S. Embassy branch office in Tel Aviv in the early hours of Friday.
News Center- A drone strike caused an explosion near the U.S. Embassy branch office in Tel Aviv in the early hours of Friday. A man in his fifties had been found dead with shrapnel wounds in his apartment near the scene of the blast in downtown Tel Aviv and four people had been injured due to the explosion, according to Magen David Adom, Israel's emergency service.
Israel's Defense Forces said in a statement that an initial investigation indicated the explosion in Tel Aviv was caused by “the falling of an aerial target”.
Yahya Qasim Sare'e, military spokesperson for the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, claimed on X that the group had fired a drone at Tel Aviv, indicating that they would announce the details later.
