Detained members of Peace Mothers’ Initiative released

Eight members of the Peace Mothers’ Initiative, who were detained in Antalya on charges of “financing a (terrorist) organization”, have been released.

Antalya- Yesterday, eight members of the Peace Mothers’ Initiative were detained in Antalya as part of an investigation launched by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of “financing a (terrorist) organization” for sending money to prisoners.

The members of the initiative, Fatma Gün, Emine Tekmenuray, Zekiye Alak, Hülya Ayık, Hüzna Göksel, Ayşe Arslan, Valide Kaplan and Emine Arslan, were referred to the Antalya Courthouse today. They have been released by the prosecutor.
