Riha (Urfa)- Eda Mehdo, a Yazidi woman and dengbêj, passed away in Germany. Her body was transferred from Germany to the village of Burç in the Wêranşar (Viranşehir) district of Riha on Thursday. 

 

The funeral ceremony was attended by her children, relatives, Bedriye Yorgun, Co-mayor of Viranşehir, the members of the Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) and many people.

The coffin of Eda Mehdo was transferred from the airport to the cemetery in the village of Burç. She was laid to rest in her hometown.
