“Consent to persecution is also a persecution”
The Şenyaşar family has been holding their sit-in for justice for 611 days. Today, the family stated that those who committed the massacre against their family members hide behind the government.
Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 611th day.
Stating that those who committed the massacre against their family members hid behind the government, the Şenyaşar family demanded the AKP take a clear stance on this issue.

“Consent to persecution is also a persecution. There is a crime against humanity. Those who committed this crime against humanity hide behind the government. The AKP must take a clear stance on this issue,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account.
