Baghdad- The Yazidi community has been holding a conference in Baghdad on the anniversary of the genocide committed against them by ISIS on August 3, 2014. The families of martyrs, the representatives of the tribes in Shengal and many political parties and organization have been attending the conference held with the motto, “The autonomy of Shengal is the guarantee of the nations in Iraq”.

At the one-day conference, many speeches will be made on the genocide and how the Autonomous Administration is important to prevent genocides.

 The program of the conference is as follows:

·  Xezel Reşo will make the opening speech.

· The message of the Shengal Democratic Autonomous Assembly will be read by Nayîf Şemo.

·  Hemed Beşer will make a speech in behalf of the families of martyrs.

·  Wade Reşo will make a speech on behalf of the Yazidi Free Women's Movement (Kurdish: Tevgera Azadiya Jinên Êzîdî-TAJÊ).

·Azad Ebdil will make a speech on behalf of the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party (PADÊ).

·Heluy Xidîde will make a presentation entitled, “Why have Yazidis been killed throughout history, what has happened after the genocide?”

· Şêx Azad will make a presentation on the legal procedure of the genocide against Yazidis.

·Hesen Rehme will make a presentation entitled, “The project of the Autonomous Administration”.

· A presentation on the rights of the Yazidi community in the Iraqi Constitution.
