Center for children with autism opened in Halabja

A center for children with autism was opened in the city of Halabja yesterday.

Halabja - Yesterday, a center for children with autism was opened in Halabja, a city in the Kurdistan Region by Kowestan Mihemed. The center will provide treatment and education opportunities for children with autism.

The people of Halabja launched a petition and collected 4,000 signatures to demand a center be opened in the city. According to the received reports, 30 people of Halabja will be employed for the center.

“Our children with autism will be integrated into society through education provided by the center,” Kowestan Mihemed said in her opening speech of the center, stating that they hope the center will meet the needs of the people of Halabja.
