At least 53 Palestinians killed in last 24 hours

At least 53 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours, the Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement on Thursday. PRCS announced Thursday the killing of its two medical staff in Rafah.

News Center- At least 36,224 Palestinians have been killed and 81,777 others injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7,2023, the Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

At least 53 people were killed and 357 others were injured in Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours, the ministry added. The Palestinian health minister Majed Abu Ramadan on Wednesday urged the United States to pressure Israel to open the Rafah crossing to humanitarian aid. “Regarding the health sector, more than 80% of our structures were wiped out, destroyed either totally or partially, including hospitals, nurseries, and primary health care,” Majed Abu Ramadan said.

“Patients of cancer and blood diseases are dying because they cannot get their chemotherapy, and they cannot go out for radiotherapy. Many people lost their limbs, one or more, unnecessarily because there is no facility to treat them or the equipment.”

PRCS’s two medical staff killed in Israeli airstrike

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced Thursday that two of its staff were killed when an ambulance was struck while on a mission to rescue people in Rafah.

At least 20 Palestinians detained in the last 24 hours

Israeli forces arrested at least 20 Palestinians in the West Bank in the last 24 hours, according to a joint statement by the Detainees' Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society. The total number of Palestinians arrested in the occupied West Bank has risen to over 8,955 since October 7, 2023, the statement said.
