Aid convoys sent by Autonomous Administration turn back after 9 days
The trucks of humanitarian aid for earthquake victims sent by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria turned back after nine days because the Turkish state did not allow the trucks to enter the country.
News Center- On February 8, 2023, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria sent 30 fuel trucks and 20 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the areas which are under the control of the Turkish state and Turkey-backed factions in order to be in solidarity with earthquake survivors.
Despite the efforts of the Autonomous Administration and international delegations, the Turkish state blocked the trucks from entering the areas.
The rucks reportedly turned back after waiting at the Tayihe gate between Manbij-Jarablus and Um Jilud for nine days.
