News Center- Erkan Kösedağ, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism in Ağrı, was detained in Yozgat and then he was sent to prison in Yozgat on charges of sexually abusing child athletes.

Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office released a statement regarding the detention of Erkan Kösedağ. “Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an immediate investigation into the alleged ‘child sexual abuse’ on 20.12.2023. The suspect E.K. was detained.”

According to the statement, Erkan Kösedağ has been suspended from his duty.

Journalist Metin Cihan wrote on his social media account that Erkan Kösedağ had sexually harassed child athletes during training camps and sports events or inviting them to hotels. Metin Cihan also wrote that the victims have evidence to prove sexual abuse against them.
