News Center- A group of human rights and women’s rights activists held a protest in Berlin on Sunday, calling on the German government to recognize the “gender apartheid and the genocide of the Hazaras” in Afghanistan.

“For three years, the Taliban have imposed many restrictions on women in Afghanistan, including bans on education, work, and social life. Women face gender apartheid in Afghanistan,” said the activists in an open letter to the German government. “The Hazaras have experienced ethnic cleansing in Afghanistan. They are being systematically killed by groups cooperating with the Taliban due to their religion.”

The activists also called on the German government to recognize the “gender apartheid and the genocide of the Hazaras” in Afghanistan. “The German government should stop its diplomatic relations and cooperation with the Taliban and impose severe sanctions on the officials of the Taliban.”
