Egypt_ Domestic murder crimes in Egypt raise increasing fears with the recurrence of violenc incidents within the family scope, amid demands to strengthen social and psychological protection and address the causes of family disputes that may develop in some cases into tragic crimes.

Al-Manshiyya area in Alexandria governorate witnessed yesterday, Tuesday, 29 September, a tragic murder incident in which a woman was killed by her ex-husband inside the office of one of the lawyers. Preliminary investigations revealed that it came against the backdrop of continuous family disputes between the two parties.

According to what investigations and preliminary inquiries concluded, the two parties were present inside a lawyer's office to discuss a number of disputes, while the lawyer left the place for a period, before returning and discovering the crime. The security services were notified, and they moved to the scene of the incident and began examination and investigation procedures.

The investigations stated that the accused admitted to committing the crime, indicating his belief that the lawyer was the reason for the collapse of his marital life. The investigations also revealed that the accused was planning, according to his statements, to assault his ex-wife and the lawyer.

The victim's family revealed that (G. F.) had been married to the accused (K. M.), her aunt's son, for 14 years, noting that the marriage took place after she obtained the preparatory certificate, and that she did not complete her studies. They had two daughters before she separated from him about a year ago due to repeated family disputes.
