96 organizations in Syria call for “Closure of airspace”
96 law and non-government organizations in Syria released a written statement calling for the closure of Syrian airspace to Turkish warplanes and drones to protect civilians.
News Center- 96 law and non-government organizations in North and East Syria released a written statement condemning the recent Turkish attacks on Rojava.
The statement pointed out that the Turkish state has intensified its attacks on North and East Syria by using warplanes, drones, artillery and mortars. “The Turkish state has targeted critical civilian infrastructure, including health centers, power and water stations, private and public properties. Many civilians have been killed and dozens have been injured in the attacks,” the statement said.
‘Form a committee’
The statement also called on the UN and all human rights organizations to “close the airspace of the region to Turkish warplanes and drones, take Turkish forces out of Syrian territory and form a committee to investigate the crimes committed by the Turkish state in the region. People of all nationalities and religions, NGOs and law organizations in North and East Syria should rise up against the attacks.”
