According to AFAD, the earthquake took place at 12:49 [09:49 GMT] Wednesday in the Marmara Sea off the coast of Istanbul’s Silivri area, having a shallow depth of 6.92 kilometers. The earthquake was also felt in neighboring cities such as Kocaeli, Tekirdağ and Bursa.
