54 lawyers arraigned in Bukan for announcing their support to Jina Mahsa Amini’s family
54 lawyers have been arraigned in the city of Bukan for signing a statement defending the family of Jina Mahsa Amini, who was killed by Iran’s so-called morality police in Tehran.
News Center- Last year, 54 lawyers signed a statement announcing their support to the family of Jina Mahsa Amini, who was killed by Iran’s so-called ‘morality police’ in Tehran. In the statement, the lawyers condemned the Iranian government.
According to the received reports, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Iranian Islamic Revolution Court in Bukan claimed in a notification that 54 lawyers were arraigned for “publishing photos, images, and materials against public modesty”. The notification said that the lawyers must appear in court in five days.
