News Center- Afghan women have faced many rights violations since the Taliban took over Afghanistan. On Sunday, March 2, a group of women held a protest in Kabul against the misogynous policies of the Taliban. After the protest, four women were arrested by the Taliban forces.

 According to the received reports, the names of arrested women are Fatemeh Mohammadi, Malali Hashemi, Ruqia Saei and Yaqut Mandage.

After the arrest of women, Richard Bennett, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan, called for immediate unconditional release of women.

In addition, many activists and women have posted the photos of arrested women on social media platforms and demanded the release of the women.
