4 female prisoners in Amed start hunger strike
Four female prisoners, including journalist Derya Ren, have started a hunger strike in the Diyarbakır Women’s Closed Prison.

News Center- Political prisoners in Turkey started a rotational hunger strike, demanding “freedom for Abdullah Öcalan and a resolution to the Kurdish question” on November 27.
After the announcement of the political prisoners, four female prisoners held in Diyarbakır Women’s Closed Prison announced that they started a 10-day rotating hunger strike. The names of women who have started the hunger strike are: Şilan Yılmaz, Hanım İş, Helin Sayın and journalist Derya Ren.
