397 more Yazidis return to Shengal
Iraqi Ministry of Displacement and Migration (MDM) announced on Monday that 397 more Yazidis left a IDPs camp in Duhok and returned to Shengal (Sinjar).
News Center- Iraqi Ministry of Displacement and Migration (MDM) announced on Monday that 397 Yazidis left the Khanke camp, a IDPs camp located outside Duhok, and returned to Shengal (Sinjar).
The Autonomous Administration of Shengal continues to provide support to the Yazidis after they return to their homeland.
Since the Iraqi government announced that all IDPs camps would be closed down by July 30, 2024, the number of Yazidis returning to Shengal has increased.
