The Şenyaşar family has held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for their killed relatives for 353 days. “We will continue to demand justice until justice is delivered,” the family wrote on their social media account.

Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 353^rd day.

Today, Emine Şenyaşar has stayed at home in Suruç district due to her health problems while her son Ferit Şenyaşar has continued to hold their sit-in protest in front of the courthouse.

“Our sit-in protest in front of the Şanlıurfa Courthouse has entered its 353^rd day. Our only aim is to ensure the rule of law principle, to remove the pressure on the prosecutors saying 'There is nothing we can do'. We will continue to demand justice until justice is delivered,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account today.
