32 Palestinians killed in Gaza by Israel after truce expires
Israel has resumed its attacks on Gaza after the truce between Israel and Hamas expired on Friday morning. 32 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes, Gaza’s health ministry reported.

Israeli fighter jets hit targets in Gaza
Reuters reported that Israel resumed combat operations against Hamas in Gaza on Friday after accusing the Palestinian militant group of firing rockets at Israel and reneging on a deal to free all women held as hostages, violating their temporary truce agreement. The Israeli army also announced that Israeli fighter jets hit targets in Gaza.
32 Palestinians killed
At least 32 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza since the truce expired, the Health Ministry in Gaza reported.
71 journalists killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza
The Government Press Office in the Gaza Strip reported that Abdullah Darwish, Al-Aqsa satellite photojournalist, was killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. “The Israeli occupation's assassination of Palestinian journalists and media professionals aims to obscure the truth. The number of journalists killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since October 7 has risen to 71,” the media office said in a statement.
Hamas has not fulfilled its commitment to release more women from captivity, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Friday, adding that Israel intends to achieve war goals in the Gaza Strip.
“Hamas violated the framework, did not meet its obligation to release all hostage women, and fired rockets at Israel,” the office said. “The government of Israel is committed to achieving the goals of the war, releasing our hostages, eliminating Hamas and ensuring that Gaza can never again threaten the people of Israel.”
