3 years after Beirut explosion: Those responsible still covered
On August 4, 2020, Lebanon was shaken by a massive blast. 218 people were killed in the explosion that caused a political and economic crisis.

First, smoke rose from the Beirut Port and then an explosion occurred. The explosion killed 218 people and injured more than 7,000. The explosion also displaced hundreds of thousands of people. More than 70,000 buildings, many hospitals and schools were destroyed in the explosion.
After the explosion, it was learned that a cargo of 2,750 tons of the substance of TNT caused the explosion. The cost of the explosion exceeded US$15 billion, more than 65 percent of Lebanon's Gross Domestic Product. The explosion caused many crises in the country, where the economy collapsed; the government fell and the provisional government launched an investigation into the explosion; however, no progress has been made until now. Those responsible for the explosion are still covered and not brought to justice.
