13 people killed in artillery strikes on Deir ez-Zor
13 people, including children, were killed in artillery strikes by the Syrian government’s forces and the National Defense Forces, a pro-Syrian government militia, in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.
News Center- The Syrian government’s forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF), a pro-Syrian government militia, have intensified their attacks on Deir ez-Zor, one of the cantons of North and East Syria.
At 2:30 AM on Friday, artillery strikes by the Syrian government’s forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF) targeted the villages of Al-Dahla and Jadid Bakara in eastern Deir ez-Zor, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced on Friday.
According to the SDF, nine people, including children, were killed in the artillery strike on the village of Jadid Bakara and four people were killed in the artillery strike on the village of Al-Dahla.
The names of the people killed in Al Dahra are as follows:
Maria Yasin Al-Zaar (12), Istabarq Yasin Al-Zaar (5), Nadine Thleij Al-Obeid (22) and their father Yaser Yasin Al-Zaar (37).
Ilaf Yaser Al-Zaar (18-month-old), Raghad Mohammad Al-Zaar (17) and her cousin Sham Bashar Al-Zaar (4-month-old) were injured in the strike on Al Dahra. Ilaf Yaser Al-Zaar was reportedly transferred to a hospital in Hasakah, Raghad Mohammad Al-Zaar and her cousin were reportedly transferred to Jadid Bakara Hospital.
