Death toll from the war in Gaza rises to 72,302

In a new update, the death toll from the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,302 killed and more than 172,000 injured.

News Center_ The repercussion of the war on Gaza continue to cast a shadow over the situation in the region, as vital sectors experience widespread collapse amid rising casualty numbers, the displacement of hudreds of thousands of civilians, and the continuation of military operations.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday, April 6, that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip has risen to 72,302, with more than 172,000 injured since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.

The ministry pointed out that Gaza Strip hospitals received seven dead and 17 injured during the past 24 hours, adding that since the ceasefire on October 11 last year, the death toll has risen to 723, and the total number of injuries to 1,990, while 759 bodies have been retrieved.

The ministry clarified that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and rescue crews remain unable to reach them so far.
