HESNA MIHEMED

Shahba- The isolation imposed upon Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan deepens every day. The aim of the isolation imposed on him for 23 years is to break the will of the Kurdish people and deepen the crisis affecting the whole world. Abdullah Öcalan has been barred from seeing his lawyers and family. Şêrîn Reşid, member of the Research Committee of the Kurdish Leader Abdullah Öcalan Society Academy, spoke to NuJINHA about the aggravated isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan.

The aim is to disconnect him from society

Stating that the ideology and philosophy of Abdullah Öcalan offer the real freedom to women, Şêrîn Reşîd said, “Women see their freedom in the freedom of leader Apo (Abdullah Öcalan) because he opened the door to life for women and showed that women should not just stay at home. By getting to know the personality of leader Apo, the color and shape of freedom change. The isolation imposed on leader Apo also affects women's freedom and personality. This isolation has been practiced by fascist states calling for democracy. Thanks to the ideology of leader Apo, women and society have realized their own reality. The aim of the isolation is to disconnect him from society and women.”

“We will ensure his physical freedom”

Emphasizing that women find solutions to their problems with the ideology of Abdullah Öcalan, Şêrîn Reşîd said, “Women can find solutions to their problems by reading the ideology and philosophy of leader Apo. We must wage a strong struggle in order to break the isolation imposed on leader Apo. Women will save society from genocide with their own will because they know the philosophy of freedom very well. The freedom of leader Apo is a solution to current war and conflicts. The Turkish state wants to deepen tensions in the Middle East by imposing isolation until it gets its own interests.” Indicating that the main duty and responsibility of society, particularly women, is to lift the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan, Şêrîn Reşîd said, “We will work harder for the freedom of leader Apo. He has been physically isolated, but his thoughts are free. We will ensure his physical freedom in order to live together in Kurdistan.”
