DEM Party requests Parliamentary investigation into killing of 3 Kurdish women politicians
DEM Party Women’s Council Spokesperson Halide Türkoğlu has requested a Parliamentary investigation into the killing of three Kurdish women politicians in Silopi on January 4, 2016.
News Center- People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Amed MP Halide Türkoğlu has requested a Parliamentary investigation into the killing of three Kurdish women politicians; Sêvê Demir, Pakize Nayır and Fatma Uyar, who were murdered in the Silopi district of Şırnak province on January 4, 2016. She also submitted a parliamentary question about the killing of three women politicians to be responded by Turkey’s Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç.
The parliamentary question is as follows:
“*Who is murderer/murderers of three Kurdish women politicians, Sêvê Demir, Pakize Nayır and Fatma Uyar, who were killed in Silopi on January 4, 2016?
*Although it was known that they were seriously injured, why did the ambulance arrive after hours?
*Why haven't the murderers been found yet even though eight years have passed since the massacre?
*Are there any processes in the murder case of three Kurdish women politicians? How many people stand trial for killing three Kurdish women politicians?
*Will the ministry take any initiative to shed light on the massacre that took place in Silopi?”
