News Center - The detention period of eight health workers, including the Health and Social Service Workers' Union (SES) Co-chair Selma Atabey, has been extended. The health workers were detained on May 25.

The prosecutor has extended the detention for a period of four days to complete the investigation process while the health workers were expected to be sent to the court after being held in detention for four days.

The reason for detention remains unknown.
