Peace Mother Şükran Akboğa suffering from stroke taken into custody
Şükran Akboğa, a member of Diyarbakır Peace Mothers Council, has been taken into custody after the police raid on her house. She has reportedly suffered from a stroke for days.

While seriously sick prisoners haven’t been released from prison, the number of sick prisoners lost their lives due to denial of medical care has increased. 65-year-old Şükran Akboğa, a member of Diyarbakır Peace Mothers Council, has been taken into custody after the police raid on her house located in the Bağcılar neighborhood of Diyarbakır’s Bağlar district. She reportedly received treatment at a hospital for a month after having a stroke. She was discharged from the hospital several days ago. According to the received reports, she was detained although she showed police officers her medical report.
Şükran Akboğa has been reportedly taken to the Anti-Terror Branch of the Security Directorate.
