Iran sentences journalists, activists to prison
Iran has sentenced two women journalists and three activists to a total of 10 years in prison.

News Center- A court hearing against journalists Mandana Sadeghi, Farzaneh Yahya-Abadi, Arash Qaleh Gholab and activists Reza Mohammadi and Kourosh Karampour was held at First Branch of Revolutionary Court of Abadan on March 5, 2025.
According to the local sources, Mandana Sadeghi and Arash Qaleh Glolab have been each sentenced to seven months and 16 days in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime” and to three years, six months and one day on charges of “assembly and collusion against national security”.
Kourosh Karampour has been sentenced to two years in prison on charges of “assembly and collusion against national security”. Farzaneh Yahya-Abadi and Reza Mohammadi have been sentenced to three months and one day in prison on charges of “propaganda against the regime”.
