He shoots Sevginur in head but claims she commits suicide
Sevginur Aktaş, an anesthesia tech, was shot in the head by her husband. Her husband Müslüm Aktaş, a police officer, claimed that Sevginur committed suicide. It is revealed that he had sexually assaulted his wife and beat her before the incident. He has faced 75 years prison sentence for “attempting killing his wife”, “sexual assault” and “deliberately injuring.”
News Center- Sevginur Aktaş, who works as an anesthesia tech at Ankara Keçiören Education and Research Hospital, shot in the head in her house on September 13, 2020. Her neighbors reported the incident to the police when they heard the gunshots from the house, where she lived with her husband Müslüm Aktaş, a police officer. Police found the seriously wounded woman in the house and she was taken to Gülhane Education and Research Hospital.
Her husband Müslüm Aktaş, who claimed that his wife committed suicide, was detained and then sent to prison. After being kept in the intensive care unit for about two months, Sevginur Aktaş has survived. She told the police that she hadn’t committed suicide but shot by her husband. Sevginur Aktaş cannot walk and has vision problems due to the damage in her brain.
The indictment has been accepted
The investigation opened into the incident was completed. An indictment was prepared against Müslüm Aktaş by Chief Public Prosecutor has been accepted by 35th High Criminal Court. In the indictment, up to 75 years prison sentence has been demanded against Müslüm Aktaş for “attempting killing his wife”, “sexual assault” and “deliberately injuring”.
