Support to more than 300 women and children
Tagreed Jummah gave us information about their works in 2021.
“We have programs to empower women. The most important programs are the programs providing psychological support to women. In 2021, we focused on providing psychological support to women and children. We also provided legal, economic, and health support to more than 300 women and children.”
Stating that they have developed projects for women and children, Tagreed Jummah told us that their online campaigns launched in 2021 to protect women, children and elders will continue in 2022. “We have conducted two projects to empower women’s economy. We support women, who cannot find employment opportunities, to work in government institutions.”
“There are many women in need”
Underlining that they have faced many obstacles due to the siege and occupation of Gaza in recent years, Tagreed Jummah said that they have conducted many projects despite all obstacles. Emphasizing that the number of women who need help and support is very high, Tagreed Jummah said, “We haven’t reached all women and children in need because their number is very high. We keep working. We also have members who work as volunteers. We will continue to work.”
