“Palestinian Mirrors 18” exhibition held in Gaza

Dozens of women displayed their traditional handicrafts at the “Palestinian Mirrors 18” exhibition held in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza- The exhibition opened on February 9 ended yesterday. Candles, traditional clothes, healthy food, traditional handicrafts, creams, and body care products were displayed at the exhibition. Dima Al-Sharfa, the exhibition manager, told JINHA that 60 exhibition booths were opened. The exhibition drew attention to the role of Palestinian women in the economy.

They introduced their products at the exhibition

Jumana Sesalem, who opened a booth called “Jojo Cocktail”, told us that she participated in the exhibition to market her products. At the exhibition, she exhibited handmade embroidery necklaces, jewelry, wallets, and beads. Islam Al-Shurafa participated in the exhibition to introduce her products.

Amani Bashir decided to participate in the exhibition to find new customers. She complained about the difficult economic situation in the Gaza Strip. Lama Abu Oun, a law student in Palestine, makes candles to stand on her own legs. She also participated in the exhibition to find customers for her products. Iman Salama, representative of the Zeina Cooperative for Handicrafts, told us she participated in the exhibition to sell women’s products such as handmade dolls and some wooden products.
