Jokha Alharthi wins Arabic Literature Prize

Omani writer Jokha Alharthi has won the Arabic Literature Prize for her novel “Ladies of the Moon.”

News Center- Omani writer Jokha Alharthi has become this year’s winner of the Arabic Literature Prize for her novel, “Ladies of the Moon.” The Arab World Institute in Paris announced the winning of the Omani writer’s novel.

This is the second international award that writer Jokha Alharthi receives after winning the Man Booker Prize in 2019 for her novel “Celestial Beings.” Her books have been translated into English, Serbian, Korean, Italian, and German.
