Qamishlo- Hîlala Zêrîn Women’s Cultural Movement kicks of its arts and cultural events in Qamishlo city of NE Syria. The movement will organize many arts and cultural events, such as folk dance shows, painting exhibitions, and concerts for 10 days.

The opening ceremony of the events was held at Halabja Park of Qamishlo with the participation of many citizens. Hîlala Zêrîn Women’s Cultural Movement Spokesperson Fewaza Mihemed spoke to NuJINHA and she said that they will do their best to protect their culture.

“We hope the cultural events will improve our people's morale”

Fewaza Mihemed pointed out that as the Hîlala Zêrîn movement; they will organize arts and cultural events in all provinces of the Cizre region. “Our aim is to increase and maintain the interest in culture and art. Our people have been tired of war and our aim is to motivate our people with their own culture and art. We hope the cultural events will improve our people's morale.”
