News Center – Today, Google Doodle honored Palestinian artist Maliheh Afnan, one of the best female painters in the Middle East and knowns all around the world.  

Who is Maliheh Afnan?

Born on March 24, 1935, in Palestine, Maliheh Afnan lived in many countries including Beirut, Kuwait, USA, England and France. One of the reasons she traveled to so many countries is her passion for art. She kept producing paintings in every country she went to.  She is the first Palestinian painter coming to mind. She held many exhibitions in many countries. She died in London on January 6, 2016, at the age of 80.
