Riha (Urfa) - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of former AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in Pirsûs (Turkish: Suruç) district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 842nd day.

‘The head of justice should not make a wish’

Today, Emine Şenyaşar has been seeking justice at her home in Pîrsus due to her health problems. The Şenyaşar family’s social media post referred to the speech of Turkey’s Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç on the World Law Day on July 10.

The social media post of the Şenyaşar family read, “@yilmaztunc wished the rule of law, fairness and justice would prevail over all humanity. The head of justice does not wish. He (Yılmaz Tunç) has a responsibility to fulfill his duty. The whole world follows the struggle that has been going on for 842 days against the law of the superiors.”
