Exhibition of queen Tin Hinan in Algeria
Algeria's Culture Minister Malika Bendouda has announced that an exhibition of the Tuareg people’s queen Tin Hinan has been held at the Bardo National Museum.
Algeria- The exhibition named “Queen Tin Hinan Of The Tuareg People” has been held at the Bardo National Museum in Algeria. Algeria's Culture Minister Malika Bendouda has announced the opening of the exhibition. At the exhibition, Queen Tin Hinan’s golden and silver jewelry has been on display.
“We have a rare collection of precious antiques and jewelry at the exhibition, and they all belong to Queen Tin Hinan. We think that the exhibition will contribute to protect our cultural heritage of our country, to promote our culture, and to pass them to next generations,” Malika Bendouda said.
The tomb of Tin Hinan was opened by Byron Khun de Prorok with support from the French army in 1925. The exhibition will be open until the end of this month.
