Children display their talents at festival held in Rimêlan

The 7th Children Festival held in Rimêlan with the motto, “Children are protectors of culture”, ended yesterday. During the festival, many children took to the stage and displayed their talents.

Qamishlo- The 7th Children Festival was held at the Aram Tigran Culture and Art Center, located in the Rimêlan town of Qamishlo, by Hilala Zêrin Cultural Movement, Culture Committee in Qamishlo Canton and Mesopotamian Democratic Culture and Art Movement.

“We displayed our talents”

The two-day festival held with the motto, “Children are protectors of culture” ended yesterday. Barîn Hisên is one of the children displaying her talents at the festival. “I have participated in the festival for the first time and I am happy to be able to participate in it. During the festival, all children displayed their talents. The festival was very important for us. Such festivals have positive effects on children’s future. I wrote a story about lies. I read my story at the festival.”

“Children were very excited”

Ahin Murad, a member of the Sarya Baran Theatre Community, told NuJINHA that children took to the stage at the festival to display their talents. “Children were very excited,” she said.
