News Center- The Zenobya Women’s Community has issued a written statement on the artillery strikes by the Syrian government’s forces and the National Defense Forces, a pro-Syrian government militia, in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The Syrian government has intensified its attacks aiming at causing discord among the people living in the region, the statement said, recalling that at 11 people, including children, were killed in the artillery strikes by the Syrian government’s forces and the National Defense Forces (NDF) on Al-Dahla and Jadid Bakara, two villages in eastern Deir ez-Zor, on Friday, August 9. 

“The residents of the canton stand with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and security forces,” the Zenobya Women’s Community said in the statement condemning the artillery strikes on the villages. “We should stand with the SDF against the attacks.”
