‘You have to see this injustice’

The sit-in protest held by Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar in front of the Urfa Courthouse has entered its 637th day.

Riha - The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were murdered in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar has entered its 637th day.

In the morning, Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar came in front of the courthouse to hold their sit-in protest for justice.

“Those who defend an ‘Equal and Honorable Life’ have to see this injustice that has been going on for two years in front of the #Şanlıurfa Courthouse. Our struggle for justice continues on its 637th day,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account by tagging the official accounts of Turkey’s Ministry of Justice, İyi (Good) Party and İyi Party leader Meral Akşener.
